You are sending 2 messages out, 1) Now is the best time to buy 2) Negative equity comments do not exactly spur someone to want to get into the real estate market 3) An they make a home seller say oh forget it I will not list the house causing shortages of quality homes. Actually some areas are seeing mulit offers..in ATL banks are taking homes off the market for short sales and re looking at the prices…homes for example that had sold for $299 K are now $350K…and up the street Plute homes is building new condos start at the high$300s…or more..So what does that tell you?
